I love what you stand for and how well you articulate your goals, and I really want you back in the Senate - BUT - do you HAVE to ask for money? I do not live in Ohio. I get 10 texts a day asking for money for races in other states. It’s getting so I dread opening up my texts. Now Substack too? The Democratic Party is guilt-tripping me.

Put your website on the message. People know you need money. If they want to donate, they will. But I am widow on a fixed income and I have $50,000 in medical bills a year. I live in a purple state and probably am giving too much money to my candidates as it is. (That would include an admonishment from my kids.)

We have to come up with a better way to deal with the bleeping billionaires. We can’t outspend them.

I really am sick of every elected official race being all about money. I am overwhelmed with the pressure to donate! When did this become so imperative? I don’t care about how much $$ a candidate has in their race and neither should the party. It has to be about the issues! You’ve always had my support. Let Husted broadcast his lies. We know his voting record. He’s corrupt.
