I could wallpaper my office with the identical reply I receive every time from Bernie Moreno instead of the often short (maybe hand-written) note Sen. Brown often sent. And I have to write and call Moreno more than I ever did his predecessor. Of course it was often easier to see Sen. Brown in person both in Ohio & DC because he wasn't afraid of his voters.
I hope the teachers, firemen, police, and civil service retirees realize that your persistence finally resulted in the Social Security Fairness Act which made them eligible for SS spousal benefits!
You matter to all of Ohio and to the retest of the country, Sen Brown. As an Ohio native, with family and life-long friends there, I follow the state closely.
A donor to your campaign, your win is critical. One day I hope there will be a different term for the US Government than “Washington”!
I chose to move to DC long ago because like my native Dayton, it was a small town and one with work I wanted to do. Unlike Dayton residents, what I lost was voting representation in the Senate and House, something even my superb Jefferson and Colonel White teachers never taught.
Maybe while campaigning and back on the Hill, you’ll speak for us too. We aren’t now the great “Chocolate City” we were when I moved here. We do tho vote 90+% Dem. for President.
I’ve donated and will again. “Taxation without voting representation” was what I was taught. Let’s make it for us all.
I am very happy to hear your support for small, locally owned businesses. It not only provides employment within a walkable neighborhood, but it opens the door for more employee owned businesses. A group of neighbors can go together to create community ties. It can help a small town atmosphere, rather than the current "bedroom communities" in large impersonal cities.
Workers, workers, workers have always had your support. And that's great. But what plans do you have for immigrants, education, health care, seniors, environment, economy . . .
As an ex-Ohioan I’ve been following you for years. I really hope my old neighbors are smart enough to send you back to Washington.
More messages like this one please.
So great to hear about hope. And grassroots efforts are what we need👍🏽
Thank you for actually talking to Ohioans in-person, unlike our current senators. I just keep getting the same generic email back.

He met with educators in-person way back when SB10 was on our minds. I truly appreciate him.

They should elect you by a landslide! You are a honest man.

Continue doing good work!
