Sherrod Brown is an Ohio treasure. Please win, Sherrod, and show those billionaires how we fight for what’s right in Ohio!

Thanks for sharing, you have my vote.

Sherrod Brown has done more for Ohioans than any politician since I've lived here. Ohio is a beautiful state, with lively cities and towns that just keep trying to stay relevant. Hopefully, voters remember that John Husted promoted all those data centers and granted them millions in tax breaks. We just get higher electric bills. Please vote for Sherrod Brown, Ohio.

Of all candidates I consider you the very best - in a crowded field of wonderful candidates - you deserve to be back in the Senate. I will never forget a speech you gave that so moved me. We need you. Good luck.

Still rooting for you Sherrod! And for Ohio.

I’m a democrat and have lived in Ohio nearly all my life (I’m 64). I liked it when you were in office before and voted for you every time, even when you lost. I like what you're saying, but we’ve heard it all before. You’re right—we deserve better than we’re getting. But how are you going to do it? What can you tell me and other voters and even non-voters in Ohio how things will be different? The Supreme Court is pretty much rubber-stamping whatever Trump wants, we’re in a war that no one voted on—not even Congress, and we just keep getting beat down harder every day. Gas in Ohio is $5 a gallon, supposedly because of some refinery problem. Those in power want us to work harder for less money, but still buy their products even though inflation and shrinkflation are making that impossible, and healthcare is merely a dream to anyone who doesn’t work full time. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE IT BETTER? Please don’t tell us what we deserve, because both parties do that and point fingers at the other side. TELL US HOW YOU’RE GOING TO FIX IT!

I believe the first order of business once Dems get back in the majority in Congress is to reinforce the ethical standards for presidents, Congress, cabinet members, Supreme Court and other top elected and appointed and make them IRONCLAD ENFORCEABLE LAWS, PUNISHABLE BY IMPRISONMENT, not just traditional expectations that other presidents were too respectful of the office (or fearful of the political ramifications) to flagrantly violate. We must uphold our Constitution and strengthen it and the balance of powers, with appropriate amendments, if necessary, and never let another corrupt charlatan climb to the presidency or other high office who tests the limits of what he can get away with.

Why don't you send this out in an email? All your emails are about nothing — just "send money." You could be anyone, even a MAGA, based on reading them. Please make your emails more interesting and personal like Dr. Acton does. Thank you.

This is a really good suggestion! It always strikes me as odd how much Dems beg for money in their e-mails. Campaigns should be about so much more than fundraising.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

Absolutely. I understand the need to ask for money. What I don't understand is constant emails that are ONLY about money and how much your opponent is raising/spending. That isn't interesting to read or a powerful motivator to send a donation.

Linda Wesseler's avatar

And the ones that keep asking for donations that imply you've never donated to them yet, when you've already donated all you can afford, often more than you've ever donated to any candidate in any election prior to this. Amy Action's campaign people are especially culpable of this. Gave her the largest donation we've ever given, a significant amount for our income/budget, yet keep getting solicitations that don't acknowledge any prior donations, while a neighbor who donated much less received a nice Thank You card in the mail. It is so annoying that we are starting to label the emails and txts as Spam, and block them.

some candidates acknowledge that we may not be able to give. and really -- none of us can give every time we're asked. it's the candidates who acknowledge this and thank us for our support that stand out.

Marilyn Kohn's avatar

Yes! and the begging for money makes our candidates look weak.

Unfortunately, I don’t live in Ohio so I can’t vote for you, but I make a monthly donation because I really want you back in the Senate! I love Connie also!

Good luck! I’m in California- also a beautiful, prosperous, and expensive state. Our gas prices reached nearly 7 dollars for regular and over eight dollars for diesel recently.

I emailed your campaign the other day, but I'm curious if youve seen any of the Ashley st Clair stuff she has been saying about the election? If the election doesn't fall in your favor, will you insist on a recount? I guess I am just losing faith in the validity of our election system.

You aren't the only one, Becky.

I’m already giving as much money every month as I can. I want to volunteer on your campaign. I keep communicating the same thing with no response. Let me help with your ground game!

I am with you, Sherrod Brown; vote for you each time you are running. You work hard for ALL Ohioans, and I believe in you. Thank you for staying in the running.

You can't cover all the issues Ohioans care about, and everyday costs plus medical and utility bills are top of most people's minds. But could you confront the Republican favoring energy from fossil fuels over renewable sources like sun and wind, which are chosen by 90 + percent of Americans in other states for new installations?
